AI Gorilla (Gorilla Rider AI, “we”, “us”) explains on this page what information we handle, and how, for the following:
- This website (https://ai.gorilla-rider.com)
- The games we publish on Roblox
- Our posting app “Gorilla AI Posts” (an in-house tool that uses Google’s YouTube Data API)
1. This website
- There are no forms; we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information.
- Google Analytics (GA4): we may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. While it is in use, cookies and similar technologies send Google the pages you view (anything after “?” in the URL is not sent), time on page, approximate region, device and browser type, how you arrived, and which buttons you press (Play links, links to YouTube and social media, language switches, and how many times the doll is thrown). We never ask you to enter your name or email address.
- Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. We do not serve ads or track you for advertising.
- Information sent through Google Analytics is handled by Google. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- How to opt out: press the button below and this browser will not load Google Analytics or send anything (clearing your browser’s site data resets it). To opt out on every site, you can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Play links may carry a tag (source) telling our Roblox game which page and spot you came from (for example, the shelf on the top page). It contains no personally identifying information.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, date and time, pages viewed) for a limited period to investigate errors and prevent abuse. We use these logs only to keep the site running safely.
- YouTube videos: some pages show YouTube videos. At first only the thumbnail image is shown (loaded from YouTube’s image server, i.ytimg.com); the YouTube player (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) loads only after you press play. Once playing, YouTube (Google) handles information under its own policies. We count presses of the play button in Google Analytics.
- Links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Roblox take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
2. Our Roblox games
Our games run on Roblox. Roblox manages accounts, chat and payments (Robux). We do not receive your real name, email address, home address, phone number or payment details.
Inside our games we only handle information that Roblox makes available to developers:
- Roblox user ID and display name: to keep each player’s save data separate and to show things like leaderboards.
- Gameplay records (save data): items collected, in-game currency, progress, and records of in-game items purchased, so you can continue where you left off.
- Analytics events: numbers collected through Roblox’s analytics features, such as “finished the tutorial”, “minutes played” or “where players stopped”. We use them only to make the games more fun.
This data is stored within Roblox’s services (data stores and analytics). To request deletion of your game data, contact us with your Roblox username and the game name (see Contact). For how Roblox itself handles information, see the Roblox Privacy Policy.
3. The “Gorilla AI Posts” app and Google user data
“Gorilla AI Posts” is a tool we built solely to upload videos to our own YouTube channel. It is not offered or distributed to the public.
Google user data we access
We sign in with Google OAuth to our own Google account and use the YouTube Data API only to:
- upload videos to our channel and set their title, description, tags, thumbnail and privacy status; and
- check our channel’s basic information (channel ID and name) and the status of the videos we uploaded (for example, processing or published).
The app requests only two scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload (to upload videos) and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly (to read our own channel and the status of videos we uploaded).
The app is used only with the operator’s own account. It has no function to read other people’s YouTube accounts, viewers’ personal information, or information about commenters.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the app’s feature: posting our videos and confirming that they were posted. We do not use it for advertising, for unrelated analysis, or to train AI or machine-learning models.
Storage and protection
- OAuth tokens (the access keys issued by Google), together with our channel ID and channel name used to confirm which channel is connected, are stored on a computer managed by the operator, in a location only the operator can open.
- Upload records (the ID, title and upload time of videos we posted) are kept on the same computer as a work log.
- Video processing status (for example, processing or published) is read only at the moment we check an upload and is not stored.
- Apart from communication with Google’s APIs (encrypted with HTTPS), none of this is sent to any external server or shared with anyone.
Retention and deletion
- If access is revoked from the Google Account, or when we stop using the app, we delete the OAuth tokens and the stored channel ID and channel name within 7 days.
- Upload records are kept as a log for managing the videos on our own channel, and are deleted when no longer needed.
- Access can be revoked at any time from Third-party apps & services in your Google Account. Once revoked, the app can no longer access YouTube.
- Requests to delete data related to this app can be sent to us (see Contact). We will respond as soon as we confirm the request, in principle within 30 days.
YouTube terms
This app uses YouTube API Services. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Google API Limited Use disclosure
Gorilla AI Posts’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In practice, this means:
- We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing feature that is visible in the app (posting videos and checking that they were posted).
- We do not transfer Google user data to any other person, company or app, except where necessary to comply with applicable law or for security purposes such as investigating abuse (communication with Google’s APIs themselves excluded).
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use or transfer it for serving ads (including retargeting or personalized or interest-based advertising), to data brokers or information resellers, or to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- No one other than the operator reads Google user data. The operator reads it only to check posts on our own channel, or when necessary to investigate a bug or abuse or to comply with the law.
5. Sharing and selling
We do not sell any of the information described on this page. Google Analytics information is handled by Google as described in section 1. We do not share it with third parties except with consent, where required by law, or where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse. Our hosting provider and Roblox handle information to run their own services, as described in sections 1 and 2.
6. Children
Many Roblox players are under 13. Our games never ask players to enter personally identifying information such as real names, contact details or photos. Chat and other communication features run within Roblox’s own systems and moderation.
7. Changes to this policy
If the information we handle or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. For important changes we will also post a notice on the top page of this site.
